Part shade, moderately dry to dry moisture level, sandy or rocky soil. 8-24 inches height, blooms late spring to early summer, cream colored flowers, re-seeds.

Blooms a little earlier than the other penstemons. More dainty than Foxglove Penstemon. Easy to grow. Attracts bees and hummingbirds.
