Spring sun followed by summer shade, moderately wet to medium moisture level, prefers rich soil but tolerates most soils except rocky and heavy clay, moderately acid to slightly alkaline pH. 12-18 inches height, blooms in spring, blue to lavender flowers, will self-sow.
