Common Name: Fringed Brome

Full to part sun, wet to moderately wet moisture level, adaptable to most soils except rocky, moderately acid to slightly alkaline pH.  2-4 feet height, blooms in summer, yellow flowers, slow to re-seed.

Native Region: Only occurs in Sevier County

Cool season, clump-forming grass.  One of the most widespread and versatile brome grasses in North America.  Occurs in both prairie and conifer woodlands.  Drooping, oat-like appearance.  Attracts birds.
