Common Name: Canada Anemone

Full to part sun, moderately wet to medium moisture level, tolerates wide range of soils including clay.  1-2 ft. height, blooms in spring, white flowers, spreads rapidly by rhizomes.

Native Region: Occurs only in Knox County in the Ridge and Valley Province.

Designated an “Endangered Species” in Tennessee.  Attractive, low maintenance, and easy to grow.  Will tolerate full shade. Can be very aggressive in a favorable site and very difficult to remove once established.
