Open shade, wet to moderately wet moisture level, rich soil high in organic matter, slightly acid pH. 2-3 ft. height, blooms in spring, white flowers. Will naturalize.

Similar in appearance to jack-in-the-pulpit but a taller plant. Birds eat the orange fruits that are produced in fall.
