Common Name:  Ohio Horsemint, Downy Wood Mint, Downy Pagoda-plant

Part to full shade, medium to dry moisture level, average soil, moderately acid to slightly acid pH.  1-2 ft. height, blooms late spring to early summer, pale blue flowers, spreads by runners.

Native Region:  Only occurs in 8 counties — Mostly in Middle Tennessee, lightly elsewhere

Clump-forming member of the mint family. Plant has greater drought tolerance than most members of the mint family.  Attracts bees and butterflies.
