Common Name:  Prairie Indian Plantain

Full sun, moderately wet to medium moisture level, rich soil, circumneutral pH.  3-6 ft. height, blooms in summer, white flowers.

Native Region:  Davidson, Rutherford, Bedford, and Marshall counties only

Designated a “Special Concern” plant in Tennessee.  Although flowers are insignificant, foliage is striking with glossy leaves at the plant base.
