Common Name: Tall Bellflower

Part sun to light shade, moderately wet to moderately dry moisture level, tolerates wide range of soils but prefers rich soil, slightly acid to neutral pH.  2-6 ft. height, blooms in summer, violet blue flowers, reseeds slowly.

Native Region: Statewide, lightly in West Tennessee

Biennial.  In first year of growth, leaves resemble a violet so be careful not to weed it.  Easy from seed.  Attracts hummingbirds and bees.
