Common Name: Buxbaum’s Sedge, Brown Bag Sedge

Full sun to shade, wet moisture level, tolerant of a wide range of soils including clay, pH tolerant.  2-3 feet height.

Germination Code:  C(60)

Native Region:  Only occurs in Robertson, Coffee and Cumberland counties

Cool season.  Designated a “Special Concern” species in Tennessee.  Easy to grow in damp to wet soil.
