Common Name: Crowfoot Fox Sedge, Ravenfoot Sedge

Part to full shade; moderately wet to medium moisture level; prefers soil containing muck, loam, clay-loam or silty loam; extremely acid to neutral pH.  2 ½ to 3 ½ feet height, spreads slowly by re-seeding and by rhizomes.

Native Region:  Occurs only in the Coastal Plain, Highland Rim and in Knox County in the Ridge and Valley Province

Cool season.  Easy to grow.  Can tolerate flooding if the condition is temporary.  Attracts butterflies and birds.
