Common Name: Awned Graceful Sedge, Davis’ Sedge

Full to part sun, wet to medium moisture level, loamy soil.  2 ½ – 3 feet height.

Germination Code:  C(60)

Native Region:  Only occurs in Cheatham, Marshall and Davidson counties

Cool season.  Designated a “Special Concern” plant in Tennessee.  Has unique seed heads shaped like mini-footballs.  At maturity tends to be rather lanky and floppy.
