Common Name: Ivory Sedge, Bristleleaf Sedge, Bristly Cattail Sedge

Part to full shade, medium to dry moisture level, sandy soil, alkaline pH.  6 – 8 inches height, spreads slowly by rhizomes and naturalizes well.Full to part sun, wet to medium moisture level, loamy soil.  2 ½ – 3 feet height.

Native Region:  Primarily found in the Ridge and Valley Province and on Cumberland Plateau

Cool season.  Good groundcover for the woodland or rock garden.  Tolerates dense shade.  Sometimes forms large colonies under ideal conditions.
