Full to partial sun, medium to dry moisture level, tolerant of a wide range of soils, tolerant of a range of pH as long as not too acid. 1 ½ – 2 feet height.

Native Region: Occurs only in 9 counties scattered across the state
Cool season. Designated a “Special Concern” plant in Tennessee. Clump-forming, attractive and charming sedge. Unique in that it occurs on both dry and marshy ground although it is generally an upland plant. Occurs naturally in meadows, prairies, savannas, open woodlands, roadsides, and abandoned fields.
