Common Name: Sallow Sedge

Sun to shade, wet to moderately wet moisture level, tolerant of a wide range of soils, strongly acid to neutral pH.  1 1/2 -3 feet height.

Cool season.  Seedheads resemble small sweetgum balls but do not grow above the foliage so are not readily visible.  Less prone to summer dieback and remains attractive during warm summer weather.
