Common Name: Curley-styled Wood Sedge, Rosy Sedge

Part to full shade, medium to dry moisture level, loamy soil.  1 foot height, may spread by rhizomes.

Native Region:  Statewide

Cool season.  Narrow, fine textured leaves grow in thick clumps.  Named for the rosy color on a small part of its green seedheads.  Usually occurs in deciduous woodlands.  Can be used as a groundcover.
