Full sun to light shade; wet to moderately wet moisture level; soil may be sand, clay or loam.  2-3 feet height.

Cool season.  A common and adaptable wetland sedge that thrives in almost any wet soil.  It establishes quickly to provide rapid soil stabilization.  Attracts butterflies and birds.
