Common Name: Turtlehead
Full to part sun; wet to moderately wet moisture level; light, rich soil; neutral to slightly acid pH. 2-3 ft. height, blooms mid-summer to fall, white flowers, spreads by rhizomes.

Native Region: Statewide
Tubular flowers resembling the head of an open-mouthed turtle. Although it is a wetland plant in Tennessee, can be grown in good garden soil. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
