Common Name:  Green-and-Gold, Golden Star

Part sun to light shade, moderately wet to medium moisture level, rich soil, slightly acid pH.  6-12 inches height, blooms in spring but will re-bloom lightly throughout the growing season, yellow flowers, spreads by rhizomes and may self-seed.

Native Region: Lightly in East Tennessee: Hancock, Claiborne, Scott, Greene and Polk counties only

Designated a “Threatened Species” in Tennessee.  Creeping evergreen groundcover with showy flowers.  Easy to grow from seed and will naturalize.
