Showy flowers with lacy-textured leaves. This species of coreopsis has a rhizomatous growth pattern (spreading by underground creeping rootstalks) and is reliably perennial even in clay soils. Easy to grow. Can spread somewhat aggressively. It is prone to powdery mildew.
