Common Name:  Flat-topped Aster, Cornel-leaf Whitetop

Full to part sun, wet to medium moisture level, sandy loam or rocky soil.  5 ft. height, blooms summer to fall, cream flowers, spreads rapidly by rhizomes as well as by seed.

Germination Code: C(60); seeds slow to germinate.

Native Region: Middle and East Tennessee, concentrated in northeast corner of Tennessee

Aggressive plant.  Attracts butterflies.
