Common Name:  Grass-leaved Goldenrod, Flat-top Goldenrod

Full to part sun, wet to dry moisture level, prefers a good loam but tolerant of a wide range of soils including clay.  2-4 feet height, blooms summer into fall, yellow flowers, spreads rapidly by rhizom

Native Region: Scattered lightly statewide except absent in the Blue Ridge Province

Can spread aggressively in moist, sunny locations.  Easy to grow.  Attracts butterflies and bees.
