Common Name:  Soapwort Gentian, Harvestbells

Part sun to light shade, medium moisture, rich soil, moderately acid pH.  8-20 inches height, blooms in fall, blue-violet flower

Native Region:  Eastern Highland Rim and Cumberland Platea

Bottle shaped flowers opening only partly.  Attracts bees.
