Common Name: Yellow Avens

Part to full shade, wet to medium moisture level, adaptable to most soils but prefers rich organic soil, adaptable to pH levels.  2-3 feet height, blooms in summer, yellow flowers.

Native Region:  Only in Johnson County in the Blue Ridge Province

Easy to grow.  Edible leaves.  Hybridizes freely with other members of this genus.
