Common Name: Waterleaf, Great Waterleaf
A little spring sun with summer shade, medium moisture level, rich loam soil with abundant organic matter, slightly acid to neutral pH. 1-2 ½ feet height, blooms in spring, purple flowers, spreads by rhizomes and by re-seeding.

Native Region: Concentrated in Middle Tennessee and very lightly in East and West Tennessee
Biennial. Attractive flowers. Attracts bees.
