Common Name: Inland Rush, Interior Rush
Full sun, wet to moderately wet moisture level, prefers sandy soil but adapts to a wide range of soils including clay, moderately acid to neutral pH. 1 – 2 feet height, blooms in spring, green flowers, will naturalize.

Native Region: Scattered statewide but mostly concentrated in the Cumberland Plateau and the Interior Low Plateaus
Cool-season grower which is good for planting in areas that you want to naturalize. Fruits are pale brown capsules which are eaten by waterfowl.
