Common Name: Whorled Loosestrife 

Part to light shade, wet to medium moisture level, tolerant of a wide range of soils including clay, slightly acid pH.  2 ft. height, blooms early summer, yellow flowers with red centers.

Native Region: Middle and East Tennessee

Limited to wetlands in Tennessee.  Attracts bees.
