Common Name: American Lotus

Full sun, wet moisture level, adapted to a wide range of soils, moderately acid to alkaline pH.  3 ft. height, blooms summer into fall, yellow flowers, spreads rapidly by rhizomes.

Aquatic plant with fragrant flowers.  Prefers still water.  Needs lots of space to spread and reproduce.  Potentially invasive.
