Common Name: Upland White Aster, Prairie Flat-top Goldenrod

Full sun, moderately dry to dry moisture level, sandy loam soil, neutral to alkaline pH. 12-18 inches height, blooms summer to fall, white flowers.

Designated an “Endangered Species” in Tennessee.  In very fertile soil, this plant grows more robust and loses its natural daintiness.   Attracts butterflies and bees.
