Common Name:  Dwarf Ginseng

Part to full shade, medium moisture level, organically rich soil, moderately acid to neutral pH.  4-8 inches height, blooms spring to early summer, white flowers.

Germination Code: L. Germination is very slow and erratic.

Native Region: Cumberland Plateau Province and isolated counties in Blue Ridge Province

Tiny woodland perennial that looks like a small version of American Ginseng.  Occurs in cool, damp woodlands and produces yellow berries.  Dies down during summer
