Common Name: Tube Beardtongue, Trumpet Penstemon, White Wand Penstemon

Full to part sun, medium to dry moisture level, loamy or rocky soil.  1-2 ft. height, blooms in summer, white flowers.

Germination Code:  C(30), D

Native Region:  Only occurs in Fayette County in the Coastal Plain Province

Designated a “Special Concern Species” in Tennessee.  Elegant wildflower.  Flowers differ from other penstemons with unusually long and slender inflorescence.  Easy to grow.  Well-drained soil is essential to its survival.  Attracts bees and butterflies.
