Part to full light shade, medium to moderately dry moisture level, rocky soil, slightly acid to neutral pH.  6-12 inches height, blooms in early spring, white flowers.

A hairy floral stalk grows up from a rosette of basal leaves, with branched clusters of attractive, fragrant flowers.  Good flower for shaded rock gardens.
