Common Name:  Early Goldenrod, Plume Goldenrod

Full to part sun, medium to dry moisture level, grows in a wide range of soils including clay.  2-4 feet height, blooms mid-summer, yellow flowers, may produce rhizomes and vegetative offshoots.

Native Region: Scattered statewide

Earliest of the goldenrods to bloom.  Showy flowers on an attractive slender plant.  Easy to grow.  Attracts butterflies, bees and birds.
