Medium shade, medium to moderately dry moisture level, rich loam or rocky soil, slightly acid pH. 6-12 inches height, blooms in spring, white flowers.

Beautiful star-like flowers. Do not be discouraged by the name. This is a well-behaved cousin of the common lawn pest and makes a nice groundcover. Attracts birds.
