Common Name:  Heart-leaved Aster, Common Blue Wood Aster

Full to part sun, medium to moderately dry moisture level, adaptable to a wide range of soils except clay, moderately acid to neutral pH.  2-5 ft. height, blooms in fall, blue flowers, often self-seeds.

Native Region: Scattered lightly statewide, more common in East Tennessee

Showy flower, low maintenance plant that will naturalize.  Attracts butterflies.
