Common Name: Wavyleaf Aster

Part sun, dry moisture level, sandy or rocky soil.  1-3.5 ft. height, blooms in fall, blue violet flowers.

Native Region: Primarily in East Tennessee, lightly elsewhere

Heart-shaped foliage with a wavy edge.   Occurs naturally in rocky and sandy woods, dry roadsides, clearings and old fields.  Attracts butterflies and bees.
