Common Name:  Meadow Parsnip, Purple Meadow Parsnip

Full to part sun, medium to moderately dry moisture level, grows in practically any soil including clay loam and rocky.  1-2 1/2 feet height, blooms spring into summer, yellow flowers, will naturalize.

Native Region: Lightly in Middle and East Tennessee

Attracts butterflies. Larval food for Black Swallowtail butterfly.
